ABOUT JAPPA JAPPA
FOUNDER & CEO
Monique brings over a decade of international experience across travel, marketing, real estate, and event management.
Her career began with multinational companies in Indonesia and later expanded into the international wholesale travel sector in Singapore, where she also became an accredited sales professional in real estate.
Beyond her corporate career, Monique has been active as a promoter of Indonesian artists, a musical producer and director, and an organizer of cultural and business events. She co-founded the book “The 10 New Bali”, an initiative showcasing Indonesia’s diverse destinations to international audiences.
Her involvement in the Indonesian Diaspora movement includes serving as spokesperson of IDNG, a role that enabled her to engage with global leaders such as U.S. President Barack Obama and Indonesian Presidents Megawati Soekarnoputri, B.J. Habibie, and Joko Widodo.
Together with a dedicated team at BINA’s Rotterdam headquarters, she is curating tailored travel experiences that connect the richness of Indonesia with the specific interests of clients, from leisure travelers to business delegations. Her vision is to design journeys that are not only unforgettable but also strategically aligned with the growing opportunities between Indonesia and Europe.
